Monday Night Ride

It is the comedy of who is chasing who. I thought Joan and Heather were in front, so I raced to catch them. A pair of by-standers about mile marker 11.7 where vigilant, so I asked if they had seen two female cyclists. Nope. Only two male cyclists. They dutifully alerted Joan and Heather that I was in front when they rode by. This ignited Joan and Heather to pedal faster. I circled back after completing the time trial at first saddle and rode up to Newmans.

My fingers are cold. The strong folks are riding on the road at this time.

Road is dry. The temperature is 45F. It is cold. Will ride later at 2 pm

Today I am alive. Today I put the rubber to the road and pedalled up the mountain. Today I am GMR.

The view from the first saddle always reminds of how much work i did to get up here. The big question is do i ride back to back days or wait until thursday. Must get two rides in during the week.
