The new 11-28 cassette. the ratios for thus ultegra CS-6700 cassette inclue 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 24, 28. the 28 will come in handy on the hard climbs. And yes I have a triple in the front.
Hi GMR, Was curious if you have a triple crank which could enable a tighter ratio? I run a CS 6700 11-23 w/ following: 11-17 (7 cogs strait box'd) 19-21-23 Love this combo, the 19-21-23 are all the climbing gears I need w/ a 30t small ring up front, and climbing is NOT my strength. Love the close ratio 11-17 for the flats and rollers. In the rare event a course calls for sustained "non-GMR" 10%+ climbs, then can switch to the 12-25 that came with my bike! Ron S. I do have a triple. And look forward to using the 28 on the "Reward" Climb from Glendora Ridge Road MM 5-8.3. I save it for when I am in pain on the long rides.
