Catching up with Bill

Last year we visited Stratford-upon-Avon to take in truly phenomenal performance of David Tenant and Patrick Stewart in Shakespeare's Hamlet. We stayed in the city and had plenty of time to stroll along the river, take in the butterfly farm and visit every single shore the town had to offer. The Cycle Studio was a bit off the beaten track. What kind of bike is Bill riding. Does Trek make a drop bar bike with disc brakes?

My bike is a 2009 Trek Portland that I bought last fall, see: http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/road/portland/portland/

I have made a few changes to it - I replaced the 7 degree stem with a 17 degree one, replaced the cassette (11-27) and Shimano 105 rear derailleur with a Shimano XTR (mountain bike) cassette (11-32) and XTR derailleur, and put TekTro bar top auxiliary brake levers on it. I am a lousy climber, so the granny gears are needed to get my TOA up the hill.
